Holidays are a wonderful time to relax and have fun! Dog and cat owners are often unsure whether they can take their pets to a hotel, and how their animals will deal with new surroundings. Few people want to leave their pets at home while going on vacation. Can holidays with your pet be great?

How do we make sure your dog is comfortable?
Your dog or cat will certainly be very happy to spend the holidays with you, but changing surroundings can be stressful for them, so you should see to a few details. First of all, you should prepare your pet for a road trip properly, meaning that it has to have a safe spot in your car or other means of transport, and please remember to stop frequently so that your pet can relieve itself. Please also make sure that it's not too hot in your car. For a pet to feel good in a new place, it's a good idea to take their favourite toy and bedding.
A walk is a must-do during a holiday with a dog
In Zakopane, we find many attractions for you that will diversify stays with a dog, but the most important are daily walks. The location of the Kasprowy Hotel is perfect for dog owners. There are several trails near the hotel, both for short and long walks. There are two great aspects to such walks – your dog will get to know new areas and run around as much as it wants to, and you'll be able to relax with a beautiful view of the Tatra Mountains!
Dog etiquette in a hotel
Hotel Kasprowy is pet friendly; however, please remember that some hotel guests may not like animals, or may simply be afraid of them. That's why we have several rules to ensure there are no misunderstandings among guests.
First of all, we ask you to be cautious if your dog may come in contact with a stranger. In common spaces (i.e. outside your room), dogs should have a muzzle and be kept on a leash. Animals are also not permitted in hotel restaurants.
If you're leaving your pet in your room, please remember to leave a door sign informing our staff about this. Rooms with animals inside will only be cleaned in the presence of the owner.
Cats at the hotel
Cat owners know how their pets endure stays in foreign places. Sometimes, this can be so stressful for them that a safer option is leaving them at home under the care of someone they know. However, if your cat is a globetrotter accustomed to frequent trips, its stay at a hotel can be quite problem free. When taking your cat on vacation, please remember to bring a carrier, litter box, water and food bowls, and its favourite toys. Cleaning the litter box is the responsibility of the owner. Rooms with animals inside will only be cleaned in the presence of the owner. Similarly to dogs – if your cat is in your room while you're absent, please place a sign on the door informing us about this.
