INFORMATION FOR MINORS

We are here to help you:

  • Remember, you are very important to us.
  • We want you to feel as comfortable as possible in our hotel.
  • Our staff is here to assist and support children, so if you have any questions or requests, please ask one of our employees.
  • If you like, let us know how you prefer to be addressed.
  • Feel free to ask any of our staff members for their name.
  • If something is unclear to you, simply ask, and we will do our best to explain.
  • If something bothers you, don’t hesitate—tell our staff directly or inform your parents or guardians.
  • If you are feeling sad or missing someone, let us know, and we will try to help you. If you need a hug or comfort, don’t be afraid to ask us—but don’t worry, we won’t do anything without your permission.
  • We will always try to ask for your opinion in matters where we can give you a choice.

Please remember that while staying in our facility, you should:

  • Behave politely.
  • Respect others.
  • Follow the rules and regulations.
  • Comply with instructions from our staff.

IMPORTANT – PLEASE READ CAREFULLY

If something has happened to you at home or in our hotel that you do not accept, something that worries or upsets you, or if someone has hurt you or behaved in an inappropriate way, please don’t hesitate to tell us. You can ask for help from the receptionist or any hotel employee. We will do our best to resolve the issue and ensure your safety.


PHYSICAL VIOLENCE

  • Physical violence is any act that causes actual or potential harm to a child.
  • It results from action or inaction by a parent or another responsible adult.
  • It can be a repeated action or a single incident.
  • Examples include hitting, pulling, pushing, throwing objects, kicking, shaking, scratching, pinching, biting, pulling hair/ears, forcing uncomfortable positions, burning, scalding, or forcing a child to eat/swallow something.

EMOTIONAL VIOLENCE

  • Chronic, non-physical, harmful interactions between a child and a caregiver, including both actions and neglect.
  • It includes emotional unavailability, ignoring a child’s emotional needs, hostility, blaming, shaming, rejection, humiliation, intimidation, assigning negative traits, inappropriate or inconsistent interactions, failure to recognize a child’s individuality and psychological boundaries.
  • Emotional violence also includes improper socialization, corruption, and exposing a child to violence.

SEXUAL VIOLENCE

  • Any sexual act involving a child under 15 years of age.
  • Involvement of a child in sexual activities that they cannot fully understand or legally consent to, or that violate legal or societal norms.
  • Sexual activity between a child and an adult, or between children where there is a power imbalance.
  • Physical contact (touching intimate parts, penetration).
  • Non-physical abuse—exhibitionism, verbal harassment, exposure to pornography, online grooming.
  • Commercial sexual exploitation of a child (when a child receives or is promised something in return for sexual acts).

NEGLECT

  • Failure to meet a child’s basic needs and/or disregard for their fundamental rights by parents, guardians, or responsible individuals.
  • It can be a one-time event or a recurring pattern where a caregiver does not provide proper conditions for a child’s development and well-being.
  • Areas affected may include:
    • Health
    • Education
    • Emotional development
    • Nutrition
    • Shelter and safe living conditions
